Yvonne Wiggins, Founder and CAO

Yvonne’s adult literary journey started in 2012 with a blog for women titled Beyond The Horizon sharing a weekly inspiration message. In 2016, the Lord spoke to her to begin blogging on Face Book. She did not know much about social media platforms. She had just recently setup her personal page, and now God was asking her to create a blog page. Out of trust and obedience, that God knew what He was doing (even if she did not), Yvonne started JOY Inspiration Blog. God expanded her reach to other women in sharing weekly video recorded messages, inspirational sayings, scripture, and picture post. What a great way this was to connect with women throughout the world for God’s glory. An open door of opportunity, wherein God has led her to share her gifts with the world. The call to write has become an unstoppable journey.

Writing has been therapeutic for her and has become a spiritual practice for Yvonne; one that she cannot imagine myself living without. It has become a way for her to be centered and stay centered; connected to something truer and beyond this world. Touching the Divine.

Yvonne believes, that once you answer in submission to The Call—whatever that call might be—it keeps producing life after its kind.  Yvonne has brought books, articles, and writing services to the world. She is grateful to God for allowing this stream of language to rise into such expressions within her, and then release them in the earth.

Yvonne is also the founder and director of a community program called Lydia’s Project DC (Destiny Changers) Outreach and Mentorship. The program currently operates in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, and is committed to serving teens girls, young women, and young single mothers.

Yvonne is a native Washingtonian. She continues to reside in the phenomenal Nations Capitol (Washington, D.C.). She is an alumni of the University of the District of Columbia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology studies. Yvonne is an active member and officer of the NCNW DC Section 2. She is the proud mother of a young adult daughter, who is very instrumental in the service that Yvonne delivers. When Yvonne is not writing/editing, she spends time listening to various genres of music, reading, watching movies, documentaries, and laughter from clean comedy. Shen enjoys watching the Winter Olympics-ice skating in particular. Her favorite national sports are baseball and basket ball. She is a lover of nature and appreciates all the beauty of earth’s paradise.
